Sam's Disney Diary's video: Disneyland Goes to the Worlds Fair 1964

This 1964 episode of Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color previewed the attractions being created for the 1964 New York's Worlds Fair. Including the introduction of Audio-Animatronic technologies. The team of imaginers at WED was not only creating some of the most memorable attractions for the world's fair, but they were developing the next generation of rides for Disneyland. Each of the developed attractions being relocated after the fair. It's a Small World was the centerpiece of the UNICEF pavilion, taking visitors to more than 100 countries. Now a staple attraction at Disneyland's Fantasyland Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln was Walt's tribute to Abraham Lincoln, now appearing on Main Street USA. The Carousel Theater of Progres was moved to Disneyland Park and can be seen today at Walt Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom And parts of Ford's Magic Skyway can be seen on the grand circle of the Disneyland Railroad.
