Sampan's Rating: B+ The third short film part of the RTHK series "Crossroadds" from 1983 features Tony Leung Chiu Wai at the age of 21. This is arguably the best short, with a truly excellent performance from Leung as well as the supporting cast. Production values are less of a hindrance in this short compared to the Andy Lau and Stephen Chow shorts, and the story is genuinely engaging. An anticlimactic ending? Perhaps, but "Strayed" is by far the best Crossroads short and an early, rarely seen highlight of Tony Leung's career as it unfolded before us. Story: A young adolescent man (Tony Leung) gets into a scuffle with some local punks and things escalate into a crime.
