Taí o que realmente aconteceu de verdade: deus fez uma primeira tentativa, mas ficou de saco cheio, e resolveu começar de novo. Do contrário, por que colocar a árvore proibida bem no meio do jardim, e fazê-la atrativa aos olhos? Por que disfarçar a destruição da felicidade do ser humano em um delicioso fruto? Por que não escondê-lo magicamente em algum outro lugar, preferivelmente do outro lado do universo? É por isso que essa história ridícula não faz o menor sentido. É espantoso como tanta gente ainda acredita nela.
