However I associate this version of chicken sandwich with nostalgia, because this type of sandwich is often made in bakeries in India. As a teenager growing up in Hyderabad I would often frequent bakeries like 'Universal Bakers' or 'King and Cardinal' and they would make sandwiches which were greasy and delicious.
