I have always wanted to visit the Taj Mahal, so one good thing that I did in 2021 was I ticked one item off my bucket list. Delhi was a bit of a dissapointment, being the political center of India, most places were closed and entry was not permitted. Most roads had heavy security and they wouldnt even let us park or stop our car, let alone get down and visit. It sort of reminded me of Washington DC. Agra was worthwhile thanks to the Taj Mahal. Words and pictures will not do it justice. Its something one has to experience in real life. Next we went to Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan. We were lucky enough to spot a tiger from a distance. Jaipur was a bit of a letdown. Places such as the Hawa mahal and Jaal Mahal were closed for renovation. The Jantar Mantar was a bit of a bore. After 4 days on the road, we were ready to go back home. Overall a good experience and a memorable trip. I highly recommend finding a visit to the Taj Mahal. Its a magical place.
