Tikkis made with soya, spinach leaves and potatoes are shallow-fried to crisp perfection. SOYA PALAK TIKKI Ingredients ¾ cup soya granules, soaked and squeezed 1 cup shredded spinach 1 medium potato, boiled, peeled and mashed 2 green chillies, chopped 1 tsp chopped ginger ½ tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste 2 tsps corn flour ¾ cup dried breadcrumbs Oil for cooking Tomato ketchup for serving Method 1. Take soya granules in a bowl. Add spinach, potato, green chilies, ginger, red chilli powder, salt, corn flour, dried breadcrumbs and mix well. 2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll into balls. Flatten to make tikkis. 3. Heat a nonstick tawa. Drizzle some oil and cook on both the sides till golden brown and crisp. 4. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
