The first ever youth centric festival of Birgunj; Birgunj Youth Festival was concluded with enthusiasim and energy amidst the screening of Girish Giri's documentary Team Nepal on the final day of Festival. The three days festival initiated with an intention to bring back the harmony and charm of the city lost due to the Madhes agitation was success in its aim. Starting with the keynote presentation of advocate Dipendra Jha, Journalist Girish Giri's new book 'Birgunj - Mero Sahar Ko Katha' was also launched on the first day of the event, which was followed by a talk session between author Giri and senior journalist Narayan Wagle and Giri’s book Launch ‘Birgunj - Mero Sahar Ko Katha” and live musical performance Lalit Kamat and friends and some local singers. Similarly, on the second day, Environmentalist Bhusan Tuladhar and Social Entrepernure Kanchan Jha presented their presentation about environment and youth participation in community building. Moving on, a talk session was also conducted between leader Gagan Thapa and journalist Sujit Mahat about opportunity of youths in Nepalese politics and a poets from Word Warriors along with some local poets also gave live performance at Maisthan Park of Birgunj. Community leader Balika Chaudhary, Social Entrepernure Amoda Mishra and Mountaineer Asha Singh also gave their presentation on third day of the fest, which finally concluded at Maisthan Park of Birgunj with the screening of 'Girish Giri' documentary Team Nepal. Exhibition from the first international photo festival of the Nation; Photo Kathmandu were also being exhibited throughout the fest. Similarly, artists from ArtLab imprinted a beautiful mural on the walls of Trijuddha School explaining about the importance of education.
