The Martine’s cozy yurt was fabulous despite a very rustic toilet. Passed through Saint-Martin-les-Vieux, Flavignac, and Les Cars on the way to Chalus. The weather was terrible but we wisely missed a huge thunderstorm be drinking beer in a pub. I was surprised to discover that Chalus was on the ‘Richard the Lionheart’ route. The nasty weather prevented proper sightseeing and I missed visiting the chapel that contain his entrails. With a salute to Britain, Aileen and I tuck into a big dinner with proper English chips.
