Chapli kabab / Kebab is a minced meat kabab. Chapli kababs are very popular street foods and are the most delicious and easy to make kababs. Chapli kababs can made using mutton , chicken and even beef . Many different spices and herbs are added to the minced meat and they are shaped into different shapes and sizes mostly it is flattened into circles and shallow fried. These minced meat chapli kebabs are fried really well till the exterior has a charred / burnt appearance. Chapli kebabs are crisp on the exterior and moist and juicy on the interior .
Chapli kababs are quick and easy to make and can be enjoyed in the comfort of your home .chapli kababs are made with minced meat and onions, tomatoes ,eggs , pomegranate seeds and many flavorful spices . Many different types of chapli kabab masala is available in the market these days but making it with scratch gives an authentic taste and flavor. Chapli kabab in India is also available in many restaurants. Chicken chapli kabab is less popular compared to minced meat chapli kabab .
INGREDIENTS FOR CHAPLI KABAB
Cooking oil 1/2 cup for frying
Eggs whisked 1
Onion 2 medium finely chopped
Green chilli 6-8
Mince meat ½ kg with fat
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbs
Mint leaves chopped 5-6 leaves
crushed Dried pomegranate seeds crushed 1 tbs
Crushed Coriander seeds 1tsp
Red chili flakes1-2 tsp
Coriander powder -1 tsp
Crushed zeera 1 tsp
Salt to taste ½ tbs or to taste
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Ajwain crushed 1 tsp
Makai ka atta (Maize flour) 2 tsp
Maida - 2tsp
Tomato finely chopped 1
Lemon juice - 1 lemon
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Raw Papaya - 1-2 tsp (optional )
