The Saramonic SR-AX100 is great for run and gun video recording. This video is a review made by Mr.E. His detail review: This adapter really improved the quality of my rig - both functionally and aesthetically. Before I purchased it I would have to disconnect my shotgun mic and replace it with my interview mic when conducting interviews (which can come off unprofessional) and that led to a lot of audio complications where I wouldn't pick up the audio from the person being interviewed in-between passing the single microphone. Now, I can record both and it has saved me a lot of headaches in editing. The sound quality is great on the device - no interference and no latency issues. The feel of it is fantastic - aluminium - so, it's very light. It's super sturdy with a hot-shoe mount - so, rest assured nothing will come tumbling off of it. And it has 3 hot-shoe female ends for any other accessories you wish to add to your set-up.
