This meaning is only understood by the natives and interestingly sometimes even not by the native speakers. The reason is that this expression or phrase called “Idiom” has a “Figurative” meaning and can’t be understood until someone tells you what it means and how it used in the language. An idiom can never be translated word for word, hence can’t be learnt with the help of a dictionary. In this video, you will be provided with the English Idioms and Phrases (with idiomatic meaning) with their Urdu meaning or their Urdu equivalents so you can understand them properly and use them in your daily life spoken and writings. These idioms and phrases will also help you in your school, college and university examinations. These idioms a will help you get good marks in your MATRIC,FIRST YEAR, INTER, FA, FSC,BA, BSC,MA, MSC, CSS,ISSB,NTS,NAT and all kinds of other competitive examinations. I have tried my level best to include all the idioms from Sindh Board, Punjab Board and KPK Board books of English. I am including idioms and phrases from the English Examination Papers of differ boards like Lahore BISE, Karachi BISE, Peshawar BISE, Multan BISE, Hyderabad BISE, Federal Board and all the boards’ papers. Once again I will say that if you have any suggestions or corrections regarding my videos, please feel free to share in comments, I will consider them seriously and be thankful to you for that act of kindness. BEST OF LUCK. May God help you learn English!
