12951 Mumbai Rajdhani, Running on Indian Railways Since 17 May 1972, and as red LHB train since late 2003, was the first ever train on Indian Railways to feature the modern and Safe LHB rake. Over the time, the red LHB Rake became the icon of Rajdhani Express Trains all over the nation until recent past when many express trains on Indian Railways got upgraded to the Safer LHB rakes Now, the the First LHB train of India will be converted to Tejas Rake, having various new features such as Smart Coaches and Auto closing doors. Although this wont be the first Tejas Rajdhani, as the Agartala Rajdhani was the first one with Tejas Rake. The Mumbai Rajdhani was expected to be the first Rajdhani to get a 'Trainset' which was a Train20 which was supposed to be manufactured at ICF Chennai, but has ben delayed due to ongoing Pandemic. So, till then Mumbai Rajdhani will run with Tejas Rake.
