Tell us more: https://survey.zohopublic.com/zs/NWCCv0 Want reliable UK/US pension advice: https://planfirstwealth.com/ UK Property Rental Income Update - 27th November 2023 UK private rental prices increased by 6.1% in the 12 months to October 2023, - England saw a 6.0% rise, Wales 6.9%, and Scotland 6.2% in the same period, London experienced the highest annual change in England at 6.8%, with the North East at the lowest with 4.7%, This increase in London is the highest since January 2006, The latest UK estimates are provisional and subject to revision, with all statistics being non-seasonally adjusted, The UK excluding London saw a 5.7% increase in rental prices in the 12 months to October 2023, RICS reported increased tenant demand and falling landlord instructions, predicting a 4.0% rise in rental prices across the UK in the next 12 months, England's rental prices excluding London rose by 5.6% in the same period, the highest since January 2006, In Wales, private rental prices increased by 6.9% to October 2023, the highest in Great Britain and consistent with the previous month, Homelet reported a new tenancy annual inflation of 7.9% in Wales to October 2023, while IPHRP showed 6.9%, Scottish rental prices rose by 6.2% to October 2023, the highest since January 2012 despite the Cost of Living (Tenant Protection) Scotland Act, Northern Ireland saw a 9.6% increase in rental prices to August 2023, higher than other UK regions, with updates expected in December 2023.
