15-year-old Anju's story is all about becoming a beacon of hope for many child labourers in her village in the Fatehabad district of Haryana. Part of our project on addressing child labour in Punjab & Haryana, through her grit, she has helped many children - especially girls - come out from the clutches of child labour and then go back to school. Today, Anju runs 'Buland Udaan', her NGO through which she aims to "empower the youth to navigate their life by themselves". As approaches, Save the Children's Geeta Lama speaks to her to know more about her project and her perpsective on giving children their rights.
