Bal Raksha Bharat's video: Inspiring Actions to Empower Children The Agency of Children

What does the agency of children mean? Children should be able to participate - voice their views and make choices and decisions to influence change that they want to see and impact their surrounding environment. In Patna and Kolkata, two densely populated cities with big urban slums, children living in these urban settlements are actively advocating for issues they face on a daily basis. They are raising awareness on health, hygiene and demanding actions from duty bearers. In this video, children and youth from these slums have collaborated with Save the Children, the state government and the local municipalities to make their neighbourhoods a better place for children to live and grow in.
