Savvy Organics Farm's video: Using Manure In Permaculture For Raising Chickens

There are many uses of manure In permaculture and pastured poultry. We will go around the homestead throughout the year and gather manure from the horse and donkey. We use the manure in each of the three composts in the chicken tractor areas as one of many permaculture practices on Savvy Organics Farm. The chickens eat the bugs, microbes, and seeds we can't see. This process helps feed the chickens, keeps chickens from being bored, and reduces chicken feed costs. The side benefit is a lot of lovely compost for our kitchen garden and market garden.
