Walkthrough of the PC software and demo of motion detection alarm. * EsiCam HN11 is incredibly easy to bind with your mobile device through the application "EyeCloud". It also has a very sensitive motion trigger alarm that can be scheduled for different days and times. When you receive your camera the user manual will have a sticker on the front cover. The sticker has your camera's UID number, username, password and a QR Code you can scan if binding to your mobile device manually. You will need to plug the camera's power supply in to the wall and connect the camera to your modem/router with the Ethernet cable. The Ethernet port of the camera will have two LED lights that will come on. The left should have a yellow blinking light and the right is a solid green. Once connected, you can open the app and press "+ camera". You can search for the camera with the LAN option, but I was unable to get the app to find the camera. I chose the manually add camera and option. If you choose the manual route it will ask for the camera's UID, password, etc. You do not need to type all of this information in. Press the QR Code Scan selection and scan the QR code on the front of the User Manual. You will need to type in the password and then it will say "binding", then "success". Now that the camera is linked to your phone you are able to go to "Device Management" and connect to WiFi. This camera has PC software called "EyeCloud" (same as mobile app). When you open this software you will need to add your camera with the camera plugged in to the router. This way is easy, because you will press "Find" then select your camera and enter the password. The software is where you can customize the camera with more detail. The motion detection can be programmed to activate on different days or different times. You can decide if you would like the motion detection in one preset, as well as, adjust the sensitivity. You can schedule routine recordings or have it continuously record. Plus, you can have all the recordings and snapshots automatically sent to a folder on your PC. The camera has a long-range zoom, but the camera will not automatically focus when zoomed all the way in. There is an optical zoom, as well, but this has little effect with the zoom. The 720p video quality overall is good when zoomed out. The camera's motion sensor is very, very sensitive which is great! The mobile app can adjust the motion detection in three modes- low, medium and high. The software has a number scale from 1-10 sensitivity. In the video, I have the software set to "1" and then I have my dog walk outside. The alarm comes on immediately and alerts me with a sound I had setup on my PC. It also took snapshots that I setup, as well. When the video continues the alarm is triggered again, because the bushes were moving in the wind (still at "1" sensitivity mode). Some cameras have a threshold you can adjust with the motion sensitivity to help keep the alarm from being triggered with plants or insects moving near the sensor. Overall, it's a solid camera that is very easy to install. The mobile app is user-friendly and the software offers many customizations. The video quality is good, but I would like the zoom to focus more crisp. The motion detection is very sensitive which enables you to elevate the camera high and still detect far below.
