Scablands Scavenger's video: fat bike hike in the snow Testing this bike as a hot tent option pulling my sled

@fat bike hike in the snow. Testing this bike as a hot tent option pulling my sled.
Fatbike day trip, setting up a camp and making lunch under a tarp Ended up riding back in the dark with heavy snow coming down. Just a short video of me riding The Gravity Monster Bullseye Fatbike, not a review or anything just some footage of an outing I did trying to kill myself by jumping back into riding after a long time running motorized. I ended up running a little later than I wanted to in the evening, not having lights or a helmet or goggles is not my idea of fun or safe riding practices. I really like the Idea of getting back into backcountry travel by bike, it is a little faster than walking and for me it gets the gear off my back which is essential as I cant carry a pack that weighs more than 10lbs or so. There are alot of videos out there on fatbikes and bikepacking but most of them are geared towards the hard core bike riders and that is not me..... and it was tough to see through all the things that other people are doing with these bikes and bike packing in general and try to be realistic with my expectations as to what I would be able to do with this more budget friendly bike. Basically I was just out seeing what my limitations were with this bike when it comes to packing and riding in the snow. I have done no modifications to this thing at this point. The Bags on it are things Ive had laying around for a while. I was pretty happy with the bike while my skill and athleticism are not up to riding in the deep stuff, the extra traction is very noticeable on the roads and trails. The extra large tires tend to soak up the bumps quite well and add a suspension effect. The drawback of extra tire drag is very apparent though and the rolling efficiency is very low, but grin-efficiency is very high. I really cant wait to get this thing on some trails this spring ! The plan is to build this bike into a capable platform for accessing areas closed to motorized vehicles. I think that using this thing to camp off of will be quite and adventure and look forward to the challenge up modifying it to suite my tastes and needs... I would very much like to use it to hunt from next year and will be training all year to get my pedal power back up : )
