Schtang's video: Schtang - Snooker Elektron Octatrack MKII

I've had this Octratrack for about a week now. Been knuckling down on Cuckoo's tutorials, learning about sampling, slicing, mangling. Still very basic but am starting to come to terms with the Elektron language and interface. It's super deep and rich and there is a lot to take in. This product has really taken everything up a level. For some one who was sampled based in Ableton and then left DAW production completely, I really felt a lacking in the complexity I was able to achieve without a computer. This thing is just soooo deep and there are so many different ways to achieve any challenge. It's gonna take me a solid few months to really get inside this product and feel comfortable but for now the rewards are coming thick and fast. In this track I used several stock samples and took the flute sound from a Debussy performance on Youtube. All Octatrack sounds with no external processing or effects.
