In this interview with Chicago Society for Neuroscience Artist in Residence Aaron Freeman University of Chicago neuroscience Professor Peggy Mason (the Chicago Brain Buddies) wax amazed and funny about a viral video of a dad giving his toddler a virtual reality (VR) rollercoaster ride. The video itself is fun and funny. It also provides an opportunity for professor Mason to give her insights on the neuroscience and neurobiology involved in the optical illusion combined with the somatosensory and vestibular processes involved.
