Scotmid Co-operative's video: Strathaven Balloon Festival - Scotmid Co-operative

Scotmid has been supporting the Strathaven Balloon Festival for a number of years. The festival, held each year in late summer in Strathaven's St Hastie Park, is a unique event in Scotland. Hot air balloonists gather from all over Britain to fly and display their balloons. The festival also features a fair, stalls, music, events, lots of hot air balloons and the spectacular 'Evening Glow'. As well as being a fun event it also brings important economic benefits for Stathaven, helping to put the village on the map while encouraging shoppers and visitors to support local businesses.
