Scott M's video: Danger Bay S4E10: Love Game Part 3

(One of my favourite episodes. I felt my last upload, the quality of vid was back, so here's my attempt to improve it, part 3.) It's back to the courts for Jonah. But here, he's got to keep his opponents score to love, and move his own feelings away from love Original Airdate: 12/9/87 Trivia: This is the second tennis episode. Season 1's The Contender (available on my channel) was the other. The sequence of Jonah hitting his serve (Tosses tennis ball and hits it out of the air) @ 0:37 was used in the intro beginning in this season and for the duration of the show's run. There is a mistake @ 1:30 as Jonah is shown at the net and reaching over to shake his opponent's hand...But in the next shot, his opponent is not even within five feet of the net! Anderson will return in season five's Open Book (also available on my channel) Notice Jonah's warmup gear @ 3:02 ? It actually is either Stefan Edberg's (Wimbledon winner, 1988 and 1990) or Ivan Lendl's (never won Wimbledon, alas) make from around this time, IIRC. Kris also mentions TWO more Wimbledon winners @ 3:16 : Chris Evert and Martina. This is a nod at Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova, who won it a combined 12 times! Jonah mentions @ 12:55 that "My goal is to get to Wimbledon! Be another Boris Becker and Pat Cash!" . This is a nod at the winner's of the prestigious tennis tournament held every late June/ early July. Becker had won it in 1985 and '86, while Cash had won it in 1987. Obviously this episode was taped a bit after July of that year. @ 19:51, Doc mentions that "It was 1959, The Dodgers had just won the World Series..." This is a nod at the Los Angeles Dodgers win at that year's World Series.
