I ate like a SUMO WRESTLER for a day | I tried the SUMO diet plan for 24 HOURS | 10,000 calorie challenge? Not quite but I tried to eat like A SUMO WRESTLER for a day to see what happens So today I tried eating like a sumo wrestler, one of the biggest most powerful athletes in the world for 24 hours. So why did I decide to eat like a sumo wrestler for a day? Because not only was the response to the last video where I ate like a US soldier for 24 hours and also my eating like Arnold Schwarzenegger for 24 hours video great, the suggestions under both vids and DMs on IG have really helped in finding other athlete diets to try similar to my calorie intake. So, seeing as you enjoyed the last 2 vids, why not continue with more of the 24 hour celebrity diet full day of eating food challenges by eating like a sumo wrestler for 24 hour Correct, in an interview by Grubb street & GQ of a world champion sumo wrestler: https://bit.ly/3a59CSc https://grb.st/3a6SdZb When speaking about the sumo wrestler diet, the sumo wrestler claimed to eat 3000 to 5000 calories so I thought that a sumo wrestler diet would suit perfectly as they seem to require the same amount of calories as myself and I’m not talking about the 10000 calorie challenge or 20000 calorie challenge sumo wrestler diet often seen out there, apparently that’s not really how they eat but I’m talking the REAL sumo wrestler diet for 24 hours So we had the eating like a US soldier for 24 hours and also eating like Arnold Schwarzenegger for a day as the last 2 24 hour challenges so why not continue with another good ol full day of eating with a twist for 24 hours. Correct, based on an interview on the 360lb sumo wrestler Ulambayar, I managed to find his exact diet plan which, as you’ll see, is very strange and quite basic comprising of only 2 main meals all revolved around A LOT of nutritious foods to help build muscle, recover, have enough energy and maintain fitness. Foods including meat, fish, veggies and complex carbs all in a Japanese broth called chanko nabe with minimal junk and fast food and the results show where sumo wrestlers are some of the heaviest and most powerful athletes in the world averaging a bodyweight between 300-400lbs The Sumo wrestler diet explained Usually, a sumo wrestler will wake up bright and early and go into a training session fasted. Training can last up to 5 hours where they will then follow their session with their first of 2 meals, lunch which includes chanko nabe, a staple in the sumo wrestler diet. Essentially, it’s a hearty broth with any form of healthy protein and vegetables in it alongside a tonne of rice. Their next meal is just dinner which consists of either chanko nabe or in this sumo wrestler meal plan, udon noodles with fish & salad. For supplements, sumo wrestlers don’t take many as the sumo wrestler interview states that sumo wrestler diet is already good enough to supply sufficient protein & carbs for muscle gain & repair i.e fish, dairy, vegetables, complex carbs. Another thing mentioned in the sumo wrestler diet interview was that sumo wrestlers drink a lot of water and green tea and SOMETIMES include dessert so i took advantage of that with my own spin on more “rice” For snacks, the sumo wrestler diet is limited often revolving around those 2 big meals at lunch & dinner so this was fine as my appetite is huge anyway So although I eat clean on a daily basis, why not substitute my staple meals with sumo wrestler diet plan & try to replicate a REAL sumo wrestler diet for 24 hours & eat big.
