I ate like a US SOLDIER for a day | I tried the military diet plan for 24 HOURS | I tried to eat like A US MILITARY SOLDIER for a day to see what happens So today I tried eating like a US military soldier, one of the most mentally & physically strong, disciplined individuals in the world for 24 hours https://www.scottmurrayfitness.com/usa-military-diet So why did I decide to eat like a for a US military soldier for a day? Because not only was the response to the last video where I ate like Arnold Schwarzenegger for 24 hours video great, a lot of you seemed to like the break from the science explained full day of eating vlogs & enjoyed more of the 24 hour celebrity diet full day of eating vlog with a similar calorie goal as me for a day. Therefore, as I was scrolling through all your celebrity & diet suggestions from previous videos, I thought that a US military soldier would suit perfectly as they seem to require the same amount of calories as myself & I’m not talking about the military diet where you lose 10lbs in 3 days, that military diet is an insane full day of eating, I’m talking about the complete Real us soldier military diet that actual US military soldiers eat to fuel their days Correct, I managed to find a document from 2012 online which details exactly what the chefs are allowed to serve in the US military soldier chow hall -https://www.scottmurrayfitness.com/usa-military-diet Feel free to download it & follow along yourself however as you’ll see, there is a large variety of options available mostly comprising of 3 main meals all revolved around mostly nutritious foods to help build muscle, recover, have enough energy & maintain fitness. Foods including meat, fish, veggies & complex carbs with minimal junk & fast food & the results show where US military soldiers are some of the most physically fit & mentally strong individuals on the planet US military diet explained Usually, a US military soldier will wake up bright & early & go into a training session maybe after a light snack & drinking a load of water where they will then follow their session with their first meal, breakfast which includes anything from eggs, bacon, pancakes, bread, cereal, oatmeal etc. For lunch the US military soldier diet document states that the option is even greater with protein is crucial for muscle growth & repair so available is a medley of meats & fish, dairy, vegetables, complex carbs, sauces & toppings ALONG with a treat of desert including cookies, muffins, cakes etc albeit only one small serving per US military soldier As far as snacks go, again a US military soldier is limited on choices usually having access to the chow hall just 3x a day but if they miss lunch then a MRE may be supplied instead i.e a meal replacement package containing dry or processed food that they can eat when in the battlefield until their next final big meal After their lunch, a US military soldier next meal is dinner & again follows the same availability as lunch including more meats & fish, dairy, vegetables, complex carbs, sauces & toppings ALONG with a another treat of desert including cookies, muffins, cakes or in my case this time low fat ice-cream etc albeit only one small serving per US military soldier So I thought to myself, although I eat clean on a daily basis, why not substitute my staple meals with the military diet & try to replicate a US military soldier diet for 24 hours & eat big like them.
