Scream4vengeance's video: Space Dye Vest - A Dream Theater full cover collaboration

Space Dye Vest stands out as one of the most unique and beautifully bizarre specimens in Dream Theater's discography. I have always been fascinated by this weird tale of magazine model infatuation, so wonderfully recounted with dark, brooding & haunting melodies… It has always felt very special to me. Many thanks to the fantastic friends who joined me on this cover, and especially to Georgios for producing such an incredible work on the mix, by fine-tuning every little detail up to version 7b of the mix, but also for painstakingly gathering all the audio samples used in the original track! We chose to layer two vocal tracks, with one in the back of the mix as on the original (where Kevin Moore actually sang underneath Labrie), and I took some minor liberties on a whim by adding harmonies to the bridge. As far as the visuals are concerned, I let those elusive, beautiful creatures pull me under deep in dark waters. :-) I hope you enjoy our tribute to Dream Theater and Kevin Moore's superb swan song...
