Sea to Sun's video: Reality Engine - 8-Bit Style Official Music Video

'8-bit Style' is the new single from New York based, multimedia virtuoso, Matyas Kelemen, aka Reality Engine. The release comes with a mind-bending video, showcasing the pioneering technical ability he has become known for. Reality Engine has delivered creative visuals and full-blown immersive AV installations for the likes of the Disorient and Robot Heart (two of the largest Burning Man festival camps), opened for Infected Mushroom on NYE at Best Buy Theater, and can be spotted headlining around NYC at events such as Glamtech, Bubble Kingdom and Neuro Safari, and more recently, appearances at Evolve, Freakkshow, I Feel, Slumberdome, Release the Kraken, and PEX summer festival. With the forthcoming release of '8-bit Style' on New York boutique dance label, Sea To Sun Recordings on August 5th, participants are set to be hypnotized by the live Audio-Visual dance-floor experience. Reality Engine has a diverse music catalogue, having released a premier single, 'In-Tension' on UC Music and remixes for Fly, Tommy Boy and Nervous Records. 2011 saw the release of Reality Engine's debut album, 'Revenge Of The Knurds', which toured with a complete live Audio-Visual show where multiple layers of synchronised visual surfaces created a stunning, holographic effect. This was performed to thousands of festival-goers at two of Eastern Europe's largest festivals, Sziget in Budapest (485,000 people) and Peninsula in Romania (75,000). The techno and electro house influenced sounds of '8-bit Style' and mind-warping visuals will be a treat for the eyes and for the ears. Paying homage to the 8-bit iconic game systems of the eighties and nineties such as Super Nintendo, Commodore and Atari, gaming geeks of the past will spot characters from Super Mario Brothers and Space Invaders along with a variety of weird, robotic creatures as well as Star Wars characters, set amongst visuals you will truly get lost in. To mark the release of '8-bit Style', Sea To Sun Recordings will throw a launch event on Tuesday, August 5th, at the cities brand new underground party called 'NYC Haus Collective', with a Live Audio-Visual set by Reality Engine. Matyas has worked on theatrical shows including Broadway's 'The Frog Bride' at the New Victory Theater and created music videos for artists such as Vanessa Williams, Kristine W, Traci Lords, Sylvia Tosun, Juvenile, Adam K and Haifa. He has also edited and scored numerous documentary films and collaborated on fashion productions with artists such as The Blondes, Mike Ruiz, Oribe, Sarah Jessica Parker for Maria Valentina and Idol Magazine. Currently Matyas is in post production working on the music video for the upcoming single 'Gonna Make You Mine', a collaboration with DJ Monikkr featuring vocalist Ana Stassia, shot entirely in cutting edge 3D technology.
