Sean Rubino's video: Make a Wood and Epoxy Bowl Woodturning Ep 94

@Make a Wood and Epoxy Bowl // Woodturning (Ep. 94)
Please Subscribe, it's FREE! In this video I show how I made a shallow bowl or dish from branch cuttings and epoxy resin. I lined a plastic bowl with branch cuttings of different diameters and filled in the gaps with thinner twig cuttings. Mixing up some resin and adding mica powder I poured that into the bowl “mold”, placed it in a pressure tank, pressurized it to 50psi, and allowed it to fully harden for 24 hours. I then mounted the blank on the lathe and turned it to the final shape finishing it with HUT crystal coat, a shellac and oil finish.
