Sean Rubino's video: Make a Modern Desk with Hairpin Legs DIY Ep 92

@Make a Modern Desk with Hairpin Legs // DIY (Ep. 92)
Please Subscribe, it's FREE! In this video I show how I made a very simple desk using just a 1/4 sheet of 3/4" walnut plywood, 28" two rod hairpin legs in mint from DIYHairpinLegs, and mint colored spray paint. To get a smooth edge I used iron on Birch edge banding then sprayed on a couple coats of lacquer to smooth out the wood surface before painting. To keep pencils in place I routed a couple small grooves in the ends of the desk and painted them mint to match. The grommet to organize cords was a 2" grommet from the home center and I painted them mint as well. When all the paint was cured I sprayed 4 coats of lacquer and rubbed the finish down with paper from a brown paper bag. A very special thanks to Tim Holiner for supporting my work on Patreon.
