I was hanging out on the downtown Seattle waterfront listening to my scanner. From the conversation between Dispatch and a train crew I deduced their train was leaving Balmer Yard and would be coming my way shortly. I set up my camera on the sidewalk on Alaskan Way to see what was coming. Around curve came BNSF 7582 (ES44DC) bringing a vehicle train southbound on Main 2. An interesting, symmetrical loco lashup here - two BNSF units and two from Norfolk Southern. Each pair consists of 1 Dash-9 and 1 Evolution Series and each pair face opposite directions. 7582 / 5398 / NS 9372 / NS 7645 ES44DC / C44-9W / C44-9W / ES40DC
