Learn how to make these beautiful end grain butcher block cutting boards with scrap wood. For this project, I use some scrap maple, birch, and walnut hardwoods. The tools you will need for this project include: a tape measure, square, miter or circular saw, planer, table saw, clamps, wood glue, food safe oil (such as mineral or pure raw linseed oil), a router with a quarter round bit, and a sander. This project is much simpler than you think, so watch the complete video to see how I did it! These cutting boards are great gifts for friends or family and they don't require a ton of expensive wood. You can use up all those scraps sitting around in your shop.
