Watch me build a raised garden bed for my backyard. This is a super simple project that anyone can do with just a circular saw, drill, and a few other tools. This DIY Raised Garden bed is made with treated lumber and corrugated metal, which you can pick up at any home supply store, such as an Ace or a Home Depot. There are many mixed reviews about using treated lumber for gardening, since it will be in contact with the soil. Here is an interesting article and video I found about this topic. This box is very durable and provides a lot of space to grow some vegetables. There is a false bottom to this box; make sure to watch until the very end so that you see how I did it. This trick saved me from having to fill the entire box up with soil. Likewise, having the bed at this height will enable me to garden without bending over.
