SecondSonWoodworks's video: DIY Plywood Coffee Table No Hardware Dovetail and Half-lap Joints Made with Only Scraps

@DIY Plywood Coffee Table//No Hardware//Dovetail and Half-lap Joints//Made with Only Scraps
Watch me build a coffee table only using scrap plywood left over from other woodworking projects. I started off this project by glueing together strips of 3/4" plywood. I then moved on to doing two separate dovetail joints through the entire width of the table top using only my table and circular saws. From there I move on to making legs for the table using half-lap joints cut with the table saw and finished off with a chisel and mallet. After, I finish making the table legs using half lap joints cut on the table saw and attaching them to the dovetail stretchers that go across the width of the table using dowels. I then slide these stretchers through the dovetail cuts on the bottom side of the table using Titebond 2. No hardware was used throughout this entire project, only wood glue. Next, I patch up the imperfections on the table with some wood putty. Then I sand the entire table down, beginning with 80 grit and moving all the way up to 320 grit. After that, I begin finishing the table with polyurethane. After each coat, I sanded the table down with 320 grit sandpaper. The last step in the project was to rub some Johnson's paste wax into the table.
