On this episode of Second Son Woodworks, I create a replica of the Pain Box featured in the science fiction novel/movie DUNE. See below for more information: Frank Herbert's DUNE is one of my favorite novels and I am more than thrilled for the new Hollywood Blockbuster Adaptation with Timothée Chalamet. I think he will be a good Paul. One of the interesting parts of this novel and movie is when Paul is tested by the Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother named Gaius Helen Mohiam with the gom jabbar and the pain box. This test is to discern Paul's ability to lead and to see if he was the Kwisatz Haderach.
