Selvaganapathy S's video: Srivaikundam Sani Saturn sthala in Nava Kailayam

@Srivaikundam ~ Sani (Saturn) sthala in Nava Kailayam
Srivaikundam, or otherwise called as Thiru Vykundam. It's been the 6th among the Navakailasam temples, which have situated along the bank of the river Thamirabarani. It represents the planet Saturn, which has been called as Sani Bhagavan, in Tamil language. Not only this sthala Srivaikundam represents the Sani Bhagavan, but also, it has its pride of representing the planet Sun for the Nava Tirupati temples, which have been the abodes of Lord Vishnu, situated along the bank of the river Thamirabarani. Sage Romasar, who was the prime disciple of the great sage Agasthiyar had consecrated the 6th Lingam, here at Srivaikundam, as one of the nine lotus flowers had docked on the bank of the river Thamirabarani,,here at Srivaikundam. Already, he had consecrated five Lingams at Papanasam, Cheranmadevi, kodaganallur, Kunnathur, and Murappanadu, one by one, as directed by his guru Agasthiyar. Unlike other temples, one more special feature has been that the flagstaff has said to been brought from goddess Bhagavathi Amman temple at Kanyakumari. As the idol of lord Nataraja, has been covered with sandal paste, He has been called as santhana sabapathy. Lord Sani bhagavan wan has enshrined individually here in this temple. Lord Bhoothanatha. Unlike in other Shiva temples, a strange worship has been followed here, which has been none other than the worship of Lord Bhoothanatha swamy. He has said to been the manifestation of lord Sastha. Since His idol has been carved out from wood, there has been no sacred ablution, instead, only the application of sacred oil, all over the idol. The temple key has said to been handed over to Him, every night, as He has been the guardian deity of the temple. Apart from this, this sthala Srivaikundam has been featured, because of having the pride of the birthplace of Swami Kumaraguruparar. Eventhough, he had been deaf and dumb since by birth and later he had been gifted not only with speech, but also with the ability of making poetry, by lord Muruga of Thiruchendur. He went to kasi, and while his return, he had started the kashi mutt, at Thirupananthal. Kind information to YouTube:- 1. All the photos have been original, taken with Nikon SLR D3100. 2.
