Dospanbet Baba bir elinde Dombırası, bir elinde kılıcı ile halkının özgürlüğü için hayatı boyunca mücadele etmiş, Bahçesaray'a ve hatta İstanbul'a gitmiş. Emrindeki askerlerle Kırım Hanı'na savaşta destek vermiştir. Kendisi de bu savaşlardan birinde yaralanmış ve şehit olmuştur. Yani kabaca bir hesapla eser 500 yıllıktır.
