She stared mercifully at her phone. The blue rhinestones of her phones case shined every time the glare from her window flashed on it. Amber was waiting anxiously and nervously for a phone call. It wasn't a business deal or a call from the hospital saying that someone close to her was hurt. Nope. She was awaiting the call from her boyfriend, Ryan. Things had been on the rocks between them. For the past 2 weeks their has been nothing but screaming, tears and heartache for the both of them. Yesterday, they had the biggest fight of all. Amber was at Ryan's house, waiting patiently for him in his room while he was in the kitchen, cleaning the dishes. At 17, they both thought they were in love but it came crashing down. Amber raced downstairs and threw Ryan's cellphone straight into the kitchen sink. Unfortunately for Ryan, the sink was full and his phone made it's way into the awaiting water. His Blackberry sank deep into the kitchen sink. You could hear the gurgles as his phone vibrated from a text he'd receive. Ryan was completely pissed at Amber. He grabbed her and demanded for her to answer him on why she had thrown his phone into the sink. "You were cheating on me you sick fuck face!" Amber said in a hasty tone. "Cheating? What the hell are you talking about?" Ryan said as he reached into the sink to retrieve his phone. To his luck, it still worked but that didn't tame his anger at Amber. He was ready to lash out on her, but held it back. "You think I'm stupid! I read the texts between you and some girl named 'Helen'. Mhm, You guys were Having a full conversation about what you were going to do later tonight! What the fuck kinda boyfriend are you!? You told her you were gonna give her sex that she's never experienced before. You told her it'd be a night to remember. When I smack you unconscious, WE'LL SEE WHO HAS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER" Amber said in a bitter voice. Ryan was speechless. He couldn't lie. The cookie had crumbled. He had been caught in the act. "It's not what it looks like! I wasn't thinking! And we were fighting when this happened. I thought you were done with me. Please, I'm sorry" Ryan said as he got on his knees and pleaded with Amber. She rolled her eyes. Tears were boiling in her eyes. She wanted to take a broom and shove it down his throat, but that wasn't solving anything. She took a breath and looked him straight in the eyes. "If you really were sorry, you'd never believe we were going to breakup" Amber said in a saddened tone. She kissed his cheek and looked down to the ground. "You need me, I am a phone call away" Amber said as she made her way out of his Ranch styled home.
