Muhammad Shah gave him status as rich. He was the most powerful and fierce leader of the Punjab Ministers. He removed the sluggish ministers in his state and entered the fierce people. He used to call his chieftains as "Maktaj-e-Ali" and he stood on his standing when his peers stood. Alauddin Alam Shah, the last Syed ruler of DelhiSultanate voluntarily handed him the throne.
