Aurangzeb औरंगजेब को 1636 में दक्कन का वायसराय नियुक्त किया गया | शाहजहाँ के जागीरदारों को निज़ाम शाही राजकुमार मुर्तजा शाह III ने तबाह कर दिया था और अब वो अहमदनगर के खतरनाक विस्तार में लगा हुआ था | शाहजहा ने औरंगजेब को इस सैन्य अभियान के लिए भेजा और उसने 1636 ने निजाम शाही वंश को समाप्त कर दिया | 1637 में औरंगजेब ने दिलरस बानू बेगम से निकाह किया जो उसके पहली और प्रमुख बीबी थी | वो एक दासी हिराबाई के प्रति भी आसक्त था लेकिन जवानी में उसकी मौत ने उसे दुखी कर दिया | उसी साल औरंगजेब ने आसानी से एक छोटे राजपूत साम्राज्य बागलना भी हडप लिया था | 1644 में औरंगजेब Aurangzeb की बहन जहानारा एक हादसे में बुरी तरह जल गयी | इस घटना ने परिवार को सदमे में ला दिया |औरंगजेब ने इस कठिन घड़ी में आगरा ना लौटने के कारण अपने पिता को नाराज कर दिया | औरंगजेब इस घटना के तीन सप्ताह बाद आगरा आया | शाहजहा ने अपनी बेटी के स्वास्थ्य ठीक होने तक सेवा की और हजारो जागीरदार उनको ढाढस बंधाने आये | शाहजहा ने जब औरंगजेब को आंतरिक महल परिसर में सैन्य पोशाक में आते देखा तो क्रोधित होकर उसे तुरंत दक्कन के वायसराय के पद से बर्खास्त कर दिया| औरंगजेब को मुगल बादशाह के सारे अधिकार छीन लिए गये | ************************************************************************************************************************ Aurangzeb was appointed Viceroy of Deccan in 1636. The jihadis of Shah Jahan were destroyed by Nizam Shahi Prince Murtaza Shah III and now he was engaged in the dangerous expanse of Ahmednagar. Shah Jahan sent Aurangzeb to this military operation and he ended the Nizam Shahi dynasty by 1636. In 1637 Aurangzeb married Dilaras Banu Begum, who was his first and foremost lady. She was also attached to a maid Hiraabai, but her death in the youth made her sad. In the same year Aurangzeb easily grabbed a small Rajput empire. In 1644 Aurangzeb Aurangzeb's sister Jahanara was burnt in an accident. This incident brought the family in shock. Aurangzeb angry his father due to this difficult time not returning to Agra. Aurangzeb came to Agra after three weeks of this incident. Shah Jahan served till his daughter's health was restored and thousands of vassals came to bury them. When Shah Jahan saw Aurangzeb coming in a military garment in the inner palace complex, he got angry and sacked him from the Deccan Viceroy's post immediately.
