You can spam as many of them as you want, and because they are costless, you can sorta use them as discount wall-nuts. You're gonna need it for every level. Grave diggers are cool, since they can nab you a lot of planting space and cash for those seed slots. Scardey-shrooms are also quite good- they function similarly to pea-shooters, as long as you plant them in the back. Honestly, I don't really like the ice, hypno and doom shrooms, but that's just me.
