মাদারীপুরের রাজৈর উপজেলার কবিরাজপুর ইউনিয়নের কিশোরদিয়া গ্রামের চৌকদার বাড়ি থেকে বৃস্পতিবার সকালে কুকুরের ধাওয়া খেয়ে একটি মেছ বাঘ গাছে উঠলে এলাকাবাসি দেখতে পেয়ে ধাওয়া করে ধরে এলাকাবসি বাঘটি খাচায় বন্দী করে বিকেলে রাজৈর উপজেলা বন কর্মকর্তার কাছে পৌঁছে দিয়েছে এলাকাবাসি। বাঘটি শুক্রবার খুলনা বন বিভাগের লোক এসে নিয়ে যাবে বলে মাদারীপুর বন কর্মবর্তা জানিয়েছ্।ে এলাকাবাসি জানান, সকালে কুকুরের ধাওয়া খেয়ে মেছ বাঘটি মাদারীপুরের রাজৈর উপজেলার কিশোরদিয়া গ্রামের মেম্বার হবি চোকদারের বাড়ির একটি গাছে উঠে। এলকাবসি তাদেখে আতিঙ্কিত হয়ে বাঘটি ধাওয়া কওে ধরে খাচায় বন্দী করে রাখে পরে রাজৈর উপজেলা বন বিভাগের কর্মকর্তাকে জানান। পরে বিকেলে স্থানীয়দের সহযোগিতায় উপজেলা বন কর্মকর্তা আব্দুল রব চৌধুরীর কাছে বাঘটি পৌছে দেয়। কবিরাজপুর ১ নং ওয়ার্ডে মেম্বার হবি চোকদার জানান, আমাদের ভাই ব্রাদারাই এই বাঘটি অনেক কষ্ঠ করে জীবন বাজী রেখে ধরেছ আমার বাডির গাছ থেকে। অনেকে এটা মেরে ফেলতে চাইছিলো আমি মারতে তেইনি। আমি রাজৈর বন কর্মকর্তাকে জানিয়ে নিজেই এটা তার হাতে তুলে দিয়েছি। ভারপ্রাপ্ত বন কর্মকর্তা মাদারীপুর তাপস কুমার সেনগুপ্ত বার্তা বাজারকে বলেন, উদ্ধারকৃত মেছ বাঘটি খুলনা বন ও প্রাণী ডিপার্টমেন্টের কাছে হস্তাস্তর করা হবে। When a fish chased a tiger from a chowkdar house in Kishoredia village of Kabirajpur union in Madaripur's Rajair upazila on Thursday morning, the locals saw the tiger and chased it.
