In this detailed owner's review of the classic Mercedes Benz S Class W140, we have talked about it's specs and features and also took it out for a Point of View (POV) Drive. S Class W140 has is also known as the "Tank Shape" due to it's giant boxy proportions. In terms of engine options, W140 S Class was offered with an inline 6, V8 and a V12 engines. This W140 has an inline 6 cylinder petrol engine that produces about 235 HP & 320 NM of Torque. S-Class has always been about luxury and innovation and W140 was no exception. This model of S Class was launched in 1992 and it remained in production till 1998. During the time, W140 received a facelift in 1995 in which some extra features and cosmetic changes were done to it's exterior. Having a S-Class W140 in Pakistan is a mixed bag. Despite being more luxurious and comfortable than most local cars, it's spare parts are very rare and most of it's electronics are not available in Pakistan. The fuel economy of W140 is also far from impressive. It gives around 5 KM/L with light foot.
