Suzuki has just launched the new Suzuki Swift in Pakistan. The outgoing generation of Suzuki Swift was sold for almost 12 years in Pakistan. With the latest generation of Suzuki Swift, there has been a significant increase in it's features and technology. To start with, New Swift is offered with a 1.2L Petrol engine that is mated to either a manual or CVT transmission. This has increased it's fuel efficiency and performance. During our 0-100 KM/H test, we were surprised to see that the new Swift achieved 100 KM/H in just 11 seconds. The outgoing automatic Swift was around 2 seconds slower than this. In terms of features, Suzuki Pakistan has offered standard cruise control, auto retracting side mirrors, traction control, Hill start assist and 6 Airbags. It has also received all round LED lights with halogen fog lamps. Overall, this has been a major shift from the previous gen Swift. Swift 2022, is offered in 3 variants i.e. Swift GL, Swift GL CVT, Swift GLX CVT. The price of the top spec Swift GLX CVT is around 3.3 Million PKR (ex-factory), which has increased from the introductory price of 2.93 Million PKR.
