This formula is done Hot Process using a medium temp HP method, but you can do it high temperature HP or CP if you like. This formula was a 2lb (32oz oils) batch and lye liquid was at 38%. Super Fat was 5% up front and 3% (of oil weight) xtra SF after the cook. Always put a formula through a Soap Calculator before using for your own consideration. (when you put my formula into a soap calculator with my percentages for the oils/butters etc. you can choose whatever weight system you use in your country and it will give you the amounts you need to use to make the soap) Almond Oil -- 7% Camelina Seed Oil – 7% Castor Oil – 13% Coconut Oil, 76 deg – 14% Olive Oil -- 13% Palm Oil -- 10% Shea Butter -- 11% Tallow Beef -- 25% I divided up the liquid amount in this soap as follows (38% liquid for 2lb batch). The total liquid was 12.35oz (I rounded it) and the lye amount was 4.35oz. I used 5 oz of water to mix my lye with. In that water I added some angora fibre, plus 1 tsp of sea salt and dissolved along with my lye. 3.35oz -- Avocado Puree and Aloe Vera Juice and SB into my heated oils. 4oz -- Hemp seed milk (I made my hemp milk using 1/2 cup hemp seed SB with 2 cups water and strained and had leftovers which I froze) Xtra 3% super fat added heated up after cook (1oz)I used a mixture of Borage oil, Evening Primrose oil, Sea Buckthorn Oil, and Tamanu oil.(for a total of 8% SF) 2Tbsp (1 tbsp = 15ml volume not weight) sugar mixed with 2tbsp of Apple cider vinegar, dissolved, heated to warm and added after the cook (not discounted) 2Tbsp plain greek yogurt added room temp or cool after the cook. (not discounted) 6% (of oil weight) Sodium Lactate Lukewarm/room temp added after cook.(not discounted) 2tbsp Honey mixed with 2 tbsp of Aloe Vera Juice, heated until warm and added after the batter was 168F or under (not discounted) Activated Charcoal was about 1.5 Tbsp mixed with jojoba oil and vitamin E oil for 2/3 of the batch. Used Sea Buckthorn powder, Turmeric Powder and Turmeric Essential oil and Seabuckthorn oil to color some of the batter. Used Spinach Powder and Parsley Powder to color some of the batch.
