Shalu Mishra's video: dyeing my hair at home because why not hairdyefail

Hi you guys!! This weekend I decided to do something wild, which was to color my hair at home. Now, I dont quite know why I thought I should bleach and dye my own hair at home rather than going to a salon but here is what happened. I bought the Streax Ultralights Blonder Powder and Streax Professional Developer some time back. I also ordered some hair color by Manic Panic in the shade Amethyst Ashes. I thought I would be able to dye my hair safely at home and went ahead with this idea. While nothing super bad happened to my hair such as extreme breakage or damage, I simply did not get the results that I hoped for. Maybe, it's the process which we followed that was faulty and we should've looked up some more videos on how to dye your hair at home lol but the whole process was super fun. Dying your hair at home is no joke though. It's a lot more tiring than it looks. So, if you do decide to dye your hair at home, do ensure that you know what hair color style and shade do you actually want. After care is super important too so pls look up some nourishing hair color shampoos and conditioners to take are of your newly colored hair. However, until I can make the same, I'd just like to suggest you to steer clear of Amethyst Ashes as a shade if you have Dark hair and dont know how to bleach properly. Because Amethyst Ashes on dark hair or Amethyst Ashes on unbleached hair is just not visible AT ALL.
