Shana Lewis's video: An Important Message

I made this with Windows Movie Maker so sorry if it doesn't look great. Unfortunately I decided to delete my videos. I still plan to hopefully stay on youtube as a viewer. I enjoyed making them and reading people's comments. However the news that youtube is changing their terms of service on December 10th has me scared of what might happen to the channel. I did backup all my videos like someone told me to do. I'm not sure if anyone else is also aware of the changes youtube made in order to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). It's great that the FTC wants to protect kids but it made it so I had to mark my Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network videos as "made for kids". Sure they were kid oriented channels but the intention behind posting the videos has always been nostalgia for adults. You have to be at least 13 to join youtube anyway, so it doesn't make much sense to me that the FTC made youtube implement these changes. I've also heard people say that the definition of "kid appealing" is vague, since not everything animated is for kids. When the new changes go into effect in January there would be no comment section for the "kid" videos and no notification bell, so that probably means my current subscribers wouldn't even see them if I kept them up long enough for the new changes to go into effect. I'll be sticking to uploading on dailymotion and archive until something is done about this. I don't want to leave youtube but the new changes that will go into effect will make it difficult to make my videos as well as the fear of getting terminated because of the new Terms of Service. They are allowing comments until December 9th.
