Hey guys! Welcome to another shared news from home! We’re so excited to talk about this weeks episode of the bachelor but before we get into it… As always… VERY EVENTFUL EPISODE... Things are TENSE heading into the cocktail party… the OG vs newbie energy is so toxic… Matt kicks off the cocktail party addressing the group about bullying, rumors, and the toxic energy of the house… Katie filled him in last week about what had been going on and he clearly took the sentiment to heart... Matt asks Britney if they can go & talk first…. He didn’t know WHAT the rumor was but knew it was serious Britney says Anna was the one who went around telling everyone a rumor thoughts on how he comforted/ reassured her & how he handled the drama... Obviously a conversation with Anna had to happen next... She starts off the conversation by saying she is sad and disappointed in herself She owns up to spreading the rumor--says she’s felt horrible & apologized to Britney (which we didn’t see) when the house's behavior was laid out its clear HOW many people have been guilty at one point or another... Let’s talk about Ryan because she is the person who FINALLY specifically opened up to Matt about Victoria.. She got pretty emotional while revealing to Matt the mean comments from Victoria that were affecting her, specifically that because she's a dancer she’s a hoe Ryan said it really hurt her and that she does not think Victoria’s apologies to the women have been sincere thoughts on how Matt reacted to this news... Victoria is aware that her behavior is catching up to her & after quite a bit of lashing out asks to talk to Matt Starts off their convo by telling Matt she admires how he handled the “bullying” situation -- bold Tries to explain away her behavior but Matt WAS NOT having it Bluntly asks Victoria what context calling someone a hoe is acceptable in...tells her there’s a lot to think about His mind seemed made up before they even sat down...she did not have a good defense… he revealed Katie was the one who told him...could have been really bad for Katie Leading into the rose ceremony she says some truly horrible things about multiple girls...really doesn’t seem to understand the weight of her behavior... Rose ceremony… Britney, Ryan gets first rose -- clear signal to the women Front runners follow CUTS VICTORIA Victoria tells him she feels sorry for him on the way out what an exit... Enough about Victoria let’s talk about the one on one with one of our favorites rachael kirkconnell … Matt thanks her for being patient and tells her its HER day to be spoiled First off they go to a department store and a celebrity stylist comes and styles them Matt gifts her red bottom louboutins and it’s enough to make a girl cry!!! Interesting that Matt and Rachel BOTH have never been in love and can struggle with being vulnerable...clearly they’re very comfortable around each other! Ok let’s move on to the Group date… Working on a farm ??? We see Mj being very strategic throughout the day Pieper and Matt have QUITE the makeout moment Pieper kiss sort of out of nowhere and out of character... Next up is the cocktail portion of the date… We saw Matt continue to make progress with Chelsea He also has a very meaningful convo with Abigail its going to be hard for him to start narrowing it down… This week Matt was all about eliminating drama and he continues that mission with MJ…. Reveals to her that people have said she’s causing a divide in the house She says there’s no truth to this, that she leads by example things get ugly quick...Jessenia backed up by Katie calls out past behavior...MJ continues to say she leads by example and is about “peace”... thoughts? did we feel like the connection was as strong as with Rachel? GABBY: We ended the episode with another cliffhanger… Matt sent a date card requesting a 2 on 1 w/ MJ & Jessenia to “find out the truth” MJ kicks things off by attacking Jessenia Jessenia makes it clear she is going to hold her own and isn’t going to hold back DISCUSS: it gets catty really quick...do they both go home?
