US Veteran James Klingensmith lost his leg by an RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade) while serving in Afghanistan, 2009. Wake For Warriors gives wounded Vets the opportunity to get on the water behind the boat and this is where James and I connected. He impressed me so much with how quickly he learned to wakesurf on his prosthetic leg that when he mentioned wanting to give wakeboarding a try, I couldn't grab my board and camera fast enough!
