This is so hilarious. LGL and LGK struggle with each other over who gets to brood their little chick. LGK came back after only being gone 2 days, LGL was surprised at his return. He had been back 1 hour and 45 minutes already and LGL wasn't giving up the brooding. A ranger came to do the welfare check of the chick (weigh, etc) and LGK saw his opportunity to take over the brooding. LGL wasn't having any of it. In fact the ranger stayed to watch them compete with each other. LGK had half the nest for a bit while LGL wasn't giving an inch. It is so cute how they both want the brooding job. LGL won and is still brooding, she wasn't going to give up easily and fought the whole way.
