Shooter's Inc's video: IPSC Practice Session - Training Stage 3 E33

@IPSC Practice Session - Training Stage #3 (E33)
Don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE and SUBSCRIBE! Thanks!! Finally the range has dried up from the winter melt and the temperatures are well above 10C. I managed my first evening practice and I had two of my recent IPSC Black Badge students join me for some additional instruction and practice so that they will be ready to shoot their qualifying match for their IPSC Black Badge. I designed three (3) practice stages to help me train. Each training stage addresses a series of skills and techniques. I shoot all of these stages right to left, left to right, front to back and back to front as their a different series of challenges that resent themselves when shooting the stages starting in a different position and running through is a different direction. As well and quite important, I have kept the stages simple in terms of what stage props are required so that I never have the excuse that there is too much to setup. Each stage can be setup in less than 20 mins and even faster with a training partner. Keeping the props to a minimum is key as most people will not conti use to setup a training stage if it is too labour intensive. My training stages have a nice variety of targets and target array. I’ve tried to design specific target arrays to practice certain techniques, engagement sequences, target transitions , entering and exiting positions, shooting through ports / around walls / barricades, and close to distant targets. I start with my hands by my side, above shoulders, crossed, on walls / barricades, etc. I also practice loaded and unloaded barrel / table starts, sitting in a chair and all mags placed throughout the stage on barrels. I hope that you try this Training Stage and that you have fun with it and find some good training value. Check out some of my instructional video series called IPSC Quick Tips. I also have a number of gun reviews: CZ Shadow 2, CZ Shadow SP-01, Tanfoglio Limited Custom, CZ Tactical Sport Orange, SPS Pantera, and Tanfoglio Stock III which are all very good guns for IPSC / USPSA shooting. If your interested in seeing some matches including the 2014 IPSC World Shoot XVII (held in Frostproof, Florida at Universal Shooting Academy) and the 2017 IPSC World Shoot VXIII in Chateauroux, France, I have posted many of my match videos.
