Shooter's Inc's video: CZ Tactical Sport Orange - Magwell Issue - Blending Job E38

@CZ Tactical Sport Orange - Magwell Issue - Blending Job (E38)
Don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE! Thanks!! This video is a follow-up video to my full gun review of the CZ Tactical Sport Orange .40 S&W. Here is the link to my full gun review of the TSO - https://youtu.be/cichzCn-lZQ I was out practicing the other evening with my CZ Tactical Sport Orange and I was having a heck of a time speed reloading with it due to the magwell Issue. I did a full gun review on the CZ Tactical Sport Orange .40 S&W in 2017 where is pointed out what I considered to be a major fault of the TSO regarding the magwell. The extended magwell and pistol magwell are not blending together in that there is a significant lip or edge around the 95% of the magwell. During a speed reload the magazine can easily catch this lip / edge which results in a sloppy reload at best and at worst can break a magazine. In the my gun review, I stated that eventually I would take my Dremel tool and blend the extended magwell and pistol magwell properly. I am so surprised that CZ never picked up on this issue. The pistol has been so well designed and apparently some of the CZ shooting team members assisted in its design. It is a mystery to me how CZ and the team members didn’t notice the magwell issue. Well, I took my Dremel tool to the TSO’s magwell and finally corrected this problem. I never thought that I would have to use my Dremel on a higher end competition gun like this but there was no choice in the matter as I had already broken 4 of my $85 CZ TSO .40 S&W magazines. I should mention that shortly after purchasing my TSO I met the International CZ Sales Manager at the 2017 IPSC Canadian National Championship in Calgary, AB. I showed him the three mags that I broke at the time as they got stuck on the lip / edge of the TSO’s magwell. I also had the gun with me so I could show him the. Issue with the magwell. He acknowledged the issue with the mags as the Canadian mags are a two piece mag as I explain in the video. These mags are truly inferior mags and can break easily over time form either dropping to the range floor enough times or when getting caught on the lip / edge of the TSO’s magwell. Much to my surprise, he didn’t really acknowledge the magwell issue. From his body language, I could tell he knew it was an issue but really didn’t want to acknowledge it. The overall experience with the CZ International Sales Manager was disappointing to say the least. Especially since he didn’t even offer to replace my 3 broken mags which by the way I had only used two before they broke. I have since then purchased 4 full steel body mags so no more plastic block lower piece like the mags that came with the gun and the 5 extra magas I originally purchased. I use the original mags as a stripper mag and as the first mag in the gun. There is no way I would want to speed reload with these inferior mags. I will also state that the retailer who sold me the gun was no more helpful than the CZ International Sales Manager. Big disappointment as neither stood behind the product. Although I believe that I have completed the blending job, the final test to see if more work is required is to test the magwell on the range doing a number of speed reloads during a practice session. I will follow-up with the results in the comments section of the video. Don't forget to checkout some of my IPSC Quick Tip and instructional / training videos.
